My first real day of cold-calling production companies for the licensing department went very well. I managed to get about 30 sample packages send out in one day! Everyone I spoke to was very nice and interested in receiving the sample of our music library. The conversations were easy and enjoyable.
In mid-afternoon, I was pulled off my phone project to help shrink-wrap CDs for a large order that had come in with a short turnaround. So I spent the remainder of the day inhaling plastic fumes over the shrink-wrapping machines. This is by far the most unpleasant task I have been assigned to so far, but it’s still not that bad.
