The Haunted were one of Canada’s coolest bands of all time. Formed in Montreal in the 1960s, they cranked out high-voltage garage rock, tinged with blues and the occasional spooky ballad.
To celebrate Halloween, enjoy the amazing track ‘Horror Show’ from their 1967 self-titled album. Its a fuzz-drenched, droning blues-punk jam, with some wicked harmonica and guitar work. Towards the end it really explodes. It is amazing that this was made in Canada, so long ago.
